In 2011, after graduating with a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Dr. Vu Ngoc Anh returned to Vietnam with a passion for contributing to his homeland. Despite facing many challenges in the research environment and limited salary, in 2017, he successfully designed the first drone for pesticide spraying in Vietnam
In 2018, he founded NOBA ROBOTICS JOINT STOCK COMPANY, with the goal of developing drone technology applications in power line installation and agriculture.
With a solid scientific research background, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Ngoc Anh shifted his focus from drone technology to agriculture, driven by the aspiration to enhance Vietnam’s position on the international stage. Recognizing the immense potential of the agricultural sector—a traditional strength of the country—he decided to establish SHOES AGTECH in 2023
The company focuses on developing advanced agricultural machinery and automation systems, with its flagship product being a multifunctional rice care machine. This device, based on Mr. Anh’s own invention, is capable of sowing seeds, spraying pesticides, and fertilizing with superior efficiency, three times that of conventional drones. This is a strategic move aimed at creating a unique competitive advantage in the global market.
